The National Services Co-operation Sole (SUMAJKT)

The National Service Corporation Sole (SUMAJKT) is an economic wing of Tanzania National Service engaged in various commercial productive activities.

Legislation
SUMAJKT established in 1982 by the Order of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania. Established under the corporation sole (Establishment) Act No. 23 of 1974
(Cop 119 R.E 2002) for the purpose of carrying out productive commercial activities.

The Corporation Sole of National Service is controlled by Directives given by the Minister of Defense and National Service.

The Corporation Sole is a legal entity, it has perpetual succession and common seal so it is capable of suing and being sued.

The Corporation Sole can enter in contracts by its own name and being capable of purchasing, acquiring and alienating any property movable or immovable

SUMAJKT aims to be a viable economic entity with profound contributions to the National Service budget and economic development, whilst serving as a center of excellence for local communities.

To deliver quality products and services to Government Departments and the General Public by undertaking a wide range of economic activities in a sustainable manner.
